Rise Up! Bigs, Littles, and Families at Atlanta Falcons Training Camp

On July 30th, the Atlanta Falcons welcomed a group of Littles, Bigs, and Parents to a day at Training Camp in Flowery Branch, Georgia. Our group was greeted at the entrance by team representatives with swag bags filled with Falcons goodies. We were escorted to a VIP seating area to enjoy breakfast while the players warmed up.

Once the practice began, the Littles were amazed by the skills, size, and speed of these incredible, talented players. A few of the Littles, who play football for their school teams, wanted to get out on the field to mix it up with the pros! Maybe in a few more years! The practice concluded with a full speed, full pads scrimmage that really demonstrated the power and ability this Super Bowl caliber team possesses.

After practice, the Littles got to meet some of the players and coaches during an autograph signing session. They were thrilled to meet the heroes they cheer for every Sunday. When All-Pro Wide Receiver Julio Jones stopped by, the excitement was at a fever pitch!

Head Coach Dan Quinn spent time with our group to share some words of wisdom and inspiration. He spoke about what it means to be a competitor. He made the point that in order to truly get where you want to go in life, you’ve got to be a competitor, striving to be your very best, not only on the field of play, but in the classroom as well.

We’d like to thank the Atlanta Falcons for their hospitality. What an amazing team and organization! Good luck this season. We’ll be cheering you on! “Rise Up!”
