Little Sisters "Say Yes to the Prom Dress" Event
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta, in partnershipwith Sisters United Atlanta, recently hosted a “Say Yes to the Prom Dress”Event at BBBSMA headquarters in Midtown Atlanta. 22 of our Little Sisters intheir Junior or Senior year attended the event. Little Sisters were able toselect a prom dress courtesy of Angela’s Formal Wear for their prom night.
The event also featured a prom jewelry raffle giveaway, beauty tips from a professional makeup artist, prizes for essay contest winners, and a walk down the "pink carpet." Juliet Udeochu, organizer of the event, commented on the importance of engaging our high school-aged Little Sisters saying, “This was such a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our Little Sisters and ensure that every girl feels and looks like a queen on their prom night.”
