These individuals are nominated byone another, the Littles’ parents, and Match Support Specialists and representthe outstanding work that all of our volunteers do throughout the year. They are chosen from our nearly 1,800 volunteers across 12 metro counties inrecognition of their extraordinary commitment to their Littles.

Big Sister Gloria Kilanko and Little Sister Aniyah have beenmatched for more than 6 years. Throughout this time, they’ve volunteeredtogether on numerous occasions, something they’re both passionate about. In hernomination of Aniyah, Gloria shared that she has grown, learned to be patientand understanding, adding that she is partially the woman she is today becauseof the effect Aniyah has had on her life. They’re always down to try new things together (especially food)and have an incredible bond.

The event was co-hosted by BBBSATL’s Young Leaders Council, with the live, limited capacity, socially distanced portion of the evening’s program held at Inspire Brands headquarters in Atlanta.
