BBBS Announces Braves Partnership

ATLANTA BRAVES FOR BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS DAY AT TURNER FIELD

ATLANTA, June 22, 2011 – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta (BBBSMA), the area’s leading youth mentoring organization, will partner with the Atlanta Braves for Big Brothers Big Sisters Day at Turner Field, Sunday, August 21, when the Braves host the Arizona Diamondbacks at 1:35 p.m. The event will extend beyond Metro Atlanta to also include Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) agencies in Columbus, Ga., Macon, Ga. and Savannah, Ga. as well as BBBS agencies throughout Alabama, Tennessee and South Carolina.

Goizueta Foundation Grant Award

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta (BBBSMA) is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a three-year, $494,843 grant from The Goizueta Foundation. The grant enables BBBSMA to deliver high-impact, one-to-one mentoring to Hispanic/Latino youth in Metro Atlanta.

2011 Climb for Kids Alaska
